As a player, Paul's journey began at Mater Dei High School, followed by a successful collegiate career at Long Beach State, where he was a key member of the 2004 National Championship finalist team. He also represented the USA Men's National Team and competed professionally in Portugal, Puerto Rico, and Greece, participating in events like the World Club Championships and the World University Games.

Transitioning from player to coach, Paul has made a significant impact at various levels. He has held head and assistant coaching positions at Golden West College, Marina High School, and Estancia High School, and has also managed his own club program, Ohana Athletic Club. His experience extends to statistical coordination for Long Beach State Men's Volleyball.

Currently, Paul leverages his expertise as a Sales Director at SportsRecruits and management of All-In Recruiting Guidance, helping athletes navigate the recruiting process. His diverse background provides him with a unique understanding of sport, from the court to individual athlete consultation.
